FREE Introductory Yoga Classes at Opening of You-Are-Here-Yoga Studio

Focused on attaining your fitness goals, You-Are-Here-Yoga Studio and Capital MissFits are collaborating to offer new yoga classes in Kanata. Dr Alan Viau, owner of You-Are-Here-Yoga Studio, is excited to be working with Jayleen Epps, owner of Capital MissFits, in having yoga classes that compliment the current schedule of Zumba, BellyFit, Pole Fitness and TrX.

“Jayleen and I have a very similar philosophy about fitness that made our collaboration a great idea,” quips Viau. “We both believe that we are here to help you reach your goals – no matter where you start.” Both have a similar outlook that every workout incorporates mind, body and spirit.

You-Are-Here-Yoga Studio teaches Hatha Yoga which is a popular yoga choice in today’s fitness community. Groups and individuals use this ancient, classic yoga style to get fit and encourage a healthy mind-body connection. Dr Viau has developed a program called Hatha Plus. It incorporates all the principles of traditional Hatha Yoga with a focus on building your flexibility, strength and balance. It is designed to compliment your cardio workout. The use of props and weights are encouraged to intensify your experience.

The first Hatha Plus class will start on March 19, 2014 at 6pm. As an introductory special, classes on March 19 and 26, 2014, will be free. Starting April 2, 2014, participants can either pay a drop-in fee or purchase a 10 session pass. Private and semi-private classes are also offered.

You-Are-Here-Yoga Studio operates at Capital MissFits, Suite 3, 215 Terence Matthews cres, Kanata, Ontario K2M 1X5
