Active duty service members and veterans have been seeking and receiving effective alternative treatments outside of what is provided in military and Veterans Administration settings. Heaven and Earth Oasis was formed to address this widespread need.

The Heaven and Earth Oasis staff is comprised of certified, licensed healing professionals offering an array of best practices from the healing arts: Reiki, DNA Theta, water therapy, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, biofeedback and other healing methods. Scientific research is continuing to demonstrate the effectiveness of these alternative therapies for PTSD, traumatic brain injury and pain management.

As these are common symptoms of returning military service personnel, Heaven and Earth Oasis provides them with training and individual treatments.

I had the opportunity to ask Valerie Heath, founder of the centre, a few questions:

1- How has your introduction to energy healing changed your outlook on treatment (medical and otherwise)?
WELL AS YOU KNOW I HAVE HAD MY OWN HEALTH CHALLENGE OVER 10 YEARS AGO. HAD I BEEN A REIKI MASTER WITH MY KNOWLEDGE OF INQUIRY PRIOR TO MY BRAIN SURGERY, I AM ALMOST CERTAIN I WOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED THE SURGERY.

2- How have you been able to help vets?
WE HAVE HELPED VETS IN MANY AREAS WITH PTSD BE ABLE TO FUNCTION ON A DAILY BASIS, RELAX, AND HEAL INJURIES WITH THE BIOMAT AND REIKI. FURTHER, ALONG WITH INQUIRY, WE GET TO ROOT CAUSES AS TO WHY THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES RETURNING TO WORK AND SOCIETY.

3- How can energy healing help the population at large with their daily issues?
MOST DOCTORS HAVE A HARD TIME GRASPING THAT ENERGY HEALING IS NOT IN COMPETITION WITH WHAT THEY DO BUT CAN BE A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO PEOPLES CHOICES FOR HEALING. OFTEN WHEN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY HAS NOT WORKED, WE ARE BROUGHT INTO THE LIMELIGHT AS THE ONLY COURSE OF ACTION LEFT. AND WHEN ENERGY HEALING WORKS AND WORKS QUICKLY NOT ONLY IS THE COST LOWER BUT SO MUCH MORE RELAXING AND LESS STRESSFUL FOR THE INDIVIDUAL. NOT TO MENTION THAT REGULAR BIOMAT TREATMENTS CAN ACTUALLY HELP KEEP THE BODY IN OPTIMUM HEALTH. I HAVE NOT HAD A COLD IN OVER 5 YEARS.
