A coalition of leading medical groups has concluded that hormone-replacement therapy can be useful and safe for many women suffering from the symptoms of menopause. This is welcome news as a record number of women in Canada are reaching menopausal age and want to remain active and productive. Hormone replacement will become a treatment option among aging men and women boomers who want to keep healthy and remain in the workplace.
