When you get back into sport after a very long break, you need to make sure that you stay motivated. Most people aim too high and they set goals that they simply can’t achieve. If you find that you do this for a large portion of the day then you could easily devote this time to practicing a sport instead. Work out your abs or even do yoga if you can. By doing this, you will soon find that you are able to increase your fitness, which will make it easier to play sports.
Unplug
Unplug from social media and have a break. You also need to try and make sure that you are not wasting time doing things that aren’t contributing to your fitness goals. If you find that watching television motivates you with sport then this is fine, just make sure that the activities you are doing are contributing to your goals over the long term.
