Grieving widow seeks to help others cope with loss

When Sharon Stephens’ husband passed away, the loss was profound. Struggling to contemplate a future without her beloved husband, Sharon began writing, and over time, the ritual became a form of solace and allowed her to process her grief. Having found a path forward, Stephens now offers comfort and support to others who are in the throes of grief. “While I wrote, it became clear to me that I wasn’t just writing for myself,” Stephens said. “I was writing for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.”

In “Inside My Head”, Stephens relates her emotionally raw experience with grief and healing to inspire hope after loss. Shining a light into the darkness of grief, Stephens reminds readers they are not alone. “With the support of my faith, family, and friends, I am learning how to live without my husband,” Stephens said. “There is help and hope for people that are grieving, and I want to encourage readers to embark on their own journey of healing.”
