The third annual Clayton Jazz Festival: Jazz on the River is back to bring the joy of jazz to the Thousand Islands, with the my favorite AAA Four Diamond 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel as its official hotel sponsor.

Beginning Friday, Sept. 23 and concluding with a Jazz Lunch at the hotel on Sunday afternoon, local residents and out‐of‐town jazz enthusiasts alike will enjoy songs from Miles Davis and Coltrane all the way to Stevie Wonder and Jill Scott, performed by captivating new and returning acts.

Both local residents and visitors can make a jazz‐infused getaway out of the weekend with the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel’s Jazz Festival Package, including overnight accommodations, daily breakfast for two, and two tickets to Fritzel’s New Orleans Jazz Band’s performance on Sept. 26. Festival performances will be held at the Clayton Pavilion overlooking the St. Lawrence River, where attendees are invited to bring chairs and blankets to lay on the lawn, as well as the Clayton Opera House.
