In the continuation of an earlier post, I made a barn board folding leaf table for my daughter’s kitchen.

After finishing the shelving unit, we continued on with making a folding leaf table for her apartment kitchen. It was to be secured under their window and sized so that two chairs could be on either side. Having a folded leaf would make it more versatile and take up less room.

We started with the finished boards as described in the previous post. I cut two boards of equal length and attached them together with two hinges.

On the folding leaf, I installed two legs of 1 x 2 finished pine hinged under the folding leaf.

They were stored away with broom clips.
