The outgoing president of the Canadian Medical Association warned his physician colleagues to get back to practicing medicine with a human touch. Most Canadians experience a visit with their doctor in a well timed 10 minute visit that dehumanizes their treatment. Perhaps, physicians could learn some best practices from mechanics who seem better at giving advice.
