Targeting soft drinks alone is not the answer to fighting obesity

New York is banning the sale of large super sized soft drinks in an attempt to address obesity in the Big Apple. This acted as a lightning rod for both praise and criticism from many sides. However, it is still a great first step in drawing attention to the overall issue of obesity and its complex causes. How could this play out in Canada? A campaign aimed at overall snacking behaviours in general would be a better first step.
